Sportra — real-time sports intelligence

About Sportra

Last updated: 23 May 2026

Sportra is a real-time football platform on https://sportra.app. We combine live match coverage with statistics, standings, news, and interactive layers so you can follow fixtures, compare form, and explore context—without losing the thread of the match you care about.

Mission

Our mission is to give football fans a single, fast place to follow the sport they care about: live scores that stay current, match pages that explain what happened, and enough depth—stats, tables, news, predictions—to answer the next question without sending you elsewhere.

We build for clarity and pace. Navigation should scan in seconds; updates should arrive as quickly as our pipeline allows; and optional depth—Sportra Intelligence scores, player impact ranks, share cards—should stay tied to the fixture, team, or player in front of you.

What makes Sportra different

  • One coherent match centre — schedules, lineups, events, statistics, standings, and news live on connected pages instead of scattered widgets.
  • Sportra Intelligence — we normalize season and match data, then derive comparisons, 0–100 scores, archetypes, and narratives on top of raw totals. See how it works on our Sportra Intelligence page.
  • Share-ready visuals — server-rendered 1200×630 cards for fixtures, lineups, statistics, and league tables, used on the web and in companion clients such as Telegram bots.
  • Interactive layers — prediction-style gameplay and fan experiences share the same live data backbone and design language as the core site, so play feels connected to real football.
  • Transparent sourcing — match data and news carry attribution; we document how information is obtained on our Data attribution page.

Data sources

Scores, fixtures, lineups, statistics, standings, team and competition metadata, and model outputs where shown are retrieved from authorised backend services and data partners under commercial or technical integrations. News headlines and excerpts come from publishers, feeds, or APIs—with source attribution and outbound links to full articles.

Exact providers, package names, and refresh schedules may change. You should assume football data on Sportra is licensed or supplied subject to contractual use limits and intellectual property held by leagues, federations, data aggregators, or other rights holders. Club and competition names and crests appear for identification under those agreements.

For licensing boundaries, corrections, and your obligations when reusing material outside the Service, read Data attribution and our Terms of Service.

Live infrastructure

Sportrais built for live matchdays, not static snapshots. Today's fixtures are served through a dedicated matchday repository backed by Redis, with background polling on a five-second cadence (configurable) so scorelines, statuses, and key events refresh while you stay on the page.

  • Today's matchday — the client polls /api/matchday-repo for the current UTC date; live fixture fields merge in place without full page reloads.
  • Other dates — past and future matchdays load on demand; non-today snapshots are cached in Redis with a short TTL to balance freshness and cost.
  • Match detail — entity tabs (statistics, lineups, players, predictions) load from authorised football APIs when you open a page; reload to pick up post-load corrections.
  • Share and embed surfaces — OG images and widget routes use cache headers tuned by match state (shorter for live fixtures, longer for finished or scheduled ones).

Live data depends on transmissions, ingest pipelines, provider policies, and technical failures. Figures can be provisional or amended after final review. Predictions reflect pre-match signals and do not update from in-play events.

Intended audience

Sportra is for supporters, casual viewers, analysts-in-training, and anyone who wants structured football data next to readable summaries—whether you dip in for one result or spend an evening moving across several leagues.

  • Match-day followers — scan live scores, jump into detail, and share a card without leaving the flow.
  • Stats-curious fans — compare team form, player seasons, and match statistics with Sportra Intelligence context.
  • News readers — browse headlines with clear publisher attribution and links out for full reporting.
  • Play-oriented users — where enabled, lightweight prediction and gameplay layers for entertainment (not financial or professional advice).

Feature availability may vary by region, account, or rollout phase.
