Vitor Matos has declared himself "really happy" with Swansea City's transfer business after the Welsh side rounded off a busy summer window by signing Jeremy Monga. Manchester City teenager Monga's loan move was confirmed on Wednesday morning but had been finalised before Tuesday's transfer deadline. Monaco sporting director Thiago Scuro has explained that Folarin Balogun's Deadline Day move to Everton collapsed because "at the last moment, the player decided not to sign". Issues with the medical meant Everton and Monaco renegotiated the initial £40m deal for the 25-year-old striker but Balogun had a change of heart and walked away after both clubs signed a deal sheet before the transfer window closed at 23:00 BST.
