Kazakhstan winger Islam Chesnokov has returned to his homeland to sign for former club Tobol on a permanent deal after just six months with Hearts. The 26-year-old had signed a three-year contract with the Scottish Premiership club last summer after leaving Tobol. Chesnokov had signed a pre-contract agreement with Hearts last summer, but they were made to wait until January for his arrival after the clubs failed to agree a transfer fee.
