"If you are a Fulham fan, you are worried right now," former Premier League striker Chris Sutton has said after seeing the Cottagers pick up zero points from their first three league games of the season. "I thought Fulham were quite an attractive team under Marco Silva," Sutton said on BBC Radio 5 Live's Monday Night Club.
Newcastle have forecast a range of financial scenarios, depending on where the club finish this season, but sporting director Ross Wilson maintained the German has not been set a specific target for the campaign. Chief executive David Hopkinson, though, reiterated that Newcastle's ultimate ambition is to "consistently and credibly compete" for the top honours in the long run.

Everton fan Sarah Halpen has criticised the club's hierarchy for being "reactive" rather than "proactive" in the summer transfer window. The Toffees' business, which saw a £40m deal for forward Folarin Balogun collapse late on deadline day, has left manager David Moyes with just 18 senior outfield players until the next transfer window which opens on Friday, 1 January.
