Promoted side’s thrilling win may be overturned after they used four substitutions windows while Georgia Stanway show the way for GunnersKirsty Howat’s 60-second cameo deep into injury time could ruin what was a memorable day for Crystal Palace on their return to the top flight. Luka Vuskovic says Brighton must "work better" to ensure they do not need to fight back in games to earn points. The club record summer signing from Tottenham headed home his first goal for the Seagulls to equalise late on in Saturday's 1-1 draw against Leeds United. "It was not so satisfying because we didn't win the game but at least I can be a little bit happy as I helped the team to get one point," Vuskovic told BBC Radio Sussex.
The primary issue is the absence of midfielder Moises Caicedo, who is out with an unspecified injury for an unknown period after breaking down just 11 minutes into a substitute appearance against Brighton last week. It has left Xabi Alonso in almost uncharted territory for a Chelsea boss. Aside from suspensions, Caicedo had missed only two matches during the previous three seasons, through a knock and illness.
