Sunderland winger Malick Fofana and left-back Dayann Methalie could make their starting debuts against Hull City in Tuesday's Carabao Cup third-round tie. Deadline-day signing Fofana came off the bench in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Brentford and played a role in Enzo le Fee's equaliser.
