Manchester United had 44 shots to none and 15-year-old JJ Gabriel scored a hat-trick as they opened their Uefa Youth League campaign with a one-sided 5-0 victory against Sabah FK. With director of football Jason Wilcox and first team coach Travis Binnion watching on at Leigh Sports Village, United had an incredible 26 shots in the opening period alone. Skipper Amir Ibragimov took just 72 seconds to open United's account, sweeping home a first-time effort from a low Jim Thwaites free kick to the near post.
