Bretford's director of football Phil Giles has complimented Frank Onyeka's "fantastic commitment, work-rate and loyalty", after the midfielder's permanent move to newly promoted Coventry was confirmed. The 28-year-old midfielder initially signed on loan in January with a clause ensuring a permanent switch should the Sky Blues achieve promotion. Onyeka signed from Danish side Midtjylland in July 2021 in the summer after the Bees secured promotion to the Premier League for the first time.
