The London rivals have each picked up two wins from two with Chelsea’s vibrant attack having many tip them as Arsenal’s closest title rivals this season. The Gunners meanwhile have picked up from where they left off, mean in defence having shut out both Coventry City and Aston Villa. Cristhian Mosquera started both games at centre-half in the absence of William Saliba but a knock could force Mikel Arteta into a change with Ezri Konsa ready to come in. Bruno Guimaraes missed the opening game of the season, coming off the bench in that 1-0 win at Villa Park. But the Brazil international picked up another minor issue in that game, leaving him a doubt today. On Friday, Arteta spoke positively of Jurrein Timber’s fitness with the Dutchman back training with the first-team after his extended layoff. He has not started a game since March with a return this afternoon unlikely. Chelsea meanwhile are sweating on the fitness of Moises Caicedo. After missing the season-opening win against Fulham, he came off the bench against Brighton with the Blues clinging on a little bit in the second-half. But his afternoon lasted just 11 minutes with the Ecuador international leaving the pitch in some discomfort. Caicedo was not in training this week but speaking on Friday, Xabi Alonso was hopeful he could return for Saturday’s session and give him a chance of being in contention today. Summer signing Marco Palestra is unlikely to be available as he continues to recover from a knock with Jordan Henderson also still working his way back from the wrist injury suffered at the World Cup with England. Arsenal XI to face Chelsea – Metro prediction Arteta will be desperate to have Guimaraes fit to start for a huge derby in north London but with Myles Lewis-Skelly doing little wrong in there beside Declan Rice, he may opt for caution with the Brazilian. Christos Tzolis struggled against Aston Villa with Eberechi Eze coming onto replace him on the left. The former Crystal Palace star will hope he did enough to force his way into the team today. Kai Havertz has been preferred up top to Viktor Gyokeres and it’s difficult to see Arteta changing his mind today. If not available, Reece James may partner Romeo Lavia in midfield – excelling in that role against the Gunners last November. Elsewhere, it is already looking like a settled side.
