Cardiff City have added another international in their ranks after Joel Bagan won his first cap on the same night Bluebirds team-mate Jack Moyaln shone for the Republic of Ireland. Full-back Bagan had won eight caps for Ireland's Under-21s but, despite becoming a Championship regular in south Wales, had yet to break into senior international football. Injury ended hopes of that happening in the summer when he had to pull out of Heimir Hallgrimsson's squad following his first call-up.
