Amit Bhatia, the new Liverpool vice-chairman, is set to attend the Reds' first home game of the season at Anfield on Saturday, when Andoni Iraola's side take on Nottingham Forest in the Premier League. Bhatia, who stepped down as a co-owner and director at QPR last month after 18 years at the club, leads 1892 Holdings - a consortium that has bought around 38 per cent of Liverpool from Fenway Sports Group (FSG) for just over £2bn.
