Michael Edwards is to leave his role as Fenway Sports Group CEO of Football, ending 15 years of association with Liverpool across two spells. Edwards arrived at Anfield for his second stint at the club in March 2024, where he oversaw the hiring of a new manager and a change in the club's leadership structure. Originally joining the club in 2011, Edwards worked his way up to become sporting director, a role which he held from 2016 to 2022.
