Ipswich Town have signed goalkeeper Kjell Scherpen from Belgian Pro League side Union Saint-Gilloise. The 26-year-old, who kept 21 clean sheets in 43 appearances last season, has joined the Tractor Boys on a four-year deal. Scherpen arrives at Portman Road with previous Premier League experience, having spent four years at Brighton - mainly on loan - between 2021 and 2025.
