Tottenham attacking midfielder James Maddison has allayed concerns of an injury setback, insisting he is "feeling good" ahead of the 2026-27 season. The England international is yet to feature in any of the club's pre-season matches, after missing most of the 2025-26 campaign with an anterior cruciate ligament injury sustained last August. Confirming his absence from Tottenham's pre-season tour in July, head coach Roberto de Zerbi said it was "not the right moment to take risks" with Maddison.
