Kai Rooney and Jacey Carrick are part of a 23-man Manchester United squad that will compete in the prestigious eight-team Otten Cup in Eindhoven this weekend. The pair, both 16, were named among United's first-year scholars this year and will be part of an academy squad that will target all the major under-18 competitions, plus the Under-19 Uefa Youth League, as part of a refocus on junior tournaments for the club's academy. Yuel Helafu and fellow defender Rafe McCormack, who both started May's FA Youth Cup final defeat by Manchester City, are also in the group, which will be led by Darren Fletcher.
