Dundee United's season-opening draw with Rangers could so easily have been a win if Jesse Randall had taken the gilt-edged chance he was presented with in the second half. While Jim Goodwin was clearly frustrated about that after the game, he will now have had time to reflect and will be very happy with what his side served up against a team who have designs on the title. The key takeaway was the energy in Goodwin's side.
