Josh Windass and Ben Sheaf are unavailable for Wrexham's Carabao Cup first round encounter with Middlesbrough at Riverside Stadium on Friday night (20:00 BST). Forward Windass - who netted 17 goals across all competitions in his debut campaign with the Red Dragons last term - did not feature in any of Wrexham's pre-season friendlies due to a calf issue. Midfielder Sheaf was also a notable absentee for his side's summer fixtures against Wisla Krakow, Manchester United, Leeds United, Liverpool and Sunderland.
