To beat Manchester United and get to Wembley in the same season, you cannot ask for much more as a Leeds United fan. Despite the result against Chelsea, walking down Wembley Way was genuinely special. Usually, when Leeds are at Wembley it feels like life or death with everything on the line, but this time there was less pressure because we were already proud of what the team had achieved by getting there.
Wembley Way has once again been flooded with football fans from every corner of the leagues, all dreaming of seeing their team immortalised on that iconic turf. For rugby league's elite, that same shot at immortality comes around every single year.
