Analysis: Leeds enjoy end-of-season party
While the game finished with an air of despondency among the home fans, for Leeds it had been a 90-minute party in which they enjoyed a stress-free final day. Daniel Farke's side had made certain of their Premier League status two weeks ago, meaning they were able to enjoy the closing stages of the campaign. Dominic Calvert-Lewin had a close-range effort saved in the first half but once the Hammers took the lead, it was clear that the visitors had little desire to push themselves in the 30C heat for a result that would make little difference to the final outcome of their season.
