William: We have had defensive issues for a couple of seasons now. Velan: After a very inconsistent season that Konate had, it is difficult to argue his case to stay. Liverpool need to replace Konate and Gomez - at least one top centre-back with Premier League experience like Van Hecke is bare minimum.
