Everton have avoided defeat in their first away match of a Premier League campaign for the first time since August 2021 (v Leeds United), prior to this afternoon, the Toffees had lost their last four on the road to start a league campaign. Everton managed five shots on target in the first half, their most in the opening half of a Premier League game since managing six against Tottenham Hotspur in January 2025, whilst the Toffees' non-penalty xG of 1.06 was their most in the first half of a league match since September 2025, when they managed 1.17 v Aston Villa.

He instead joined Galatasaray where he has spent the last two seasons. Arsenal have explored a move for the Nigeria international in recent weeks with the Gunners still eager to recruit another centre forward. He’s strong, and he can bring that spirit to Chelsea. ‘As for Jackson, he’s gone to Aston Villa now. Honestly, I would have brought in a proper number-nine type striker. Alexander Isak tried to give his shirt to a young Liverpool fan… but it was snatched away (Photo: TNT Sports) Football fans were left furious after Alexander Isak attempted to give his Liverpool shirt to a young supporter… only for an adult to snatch it away from him. The incident occurred at Anfield after Liverpool fought back to draw 2-2 with Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday. It was another tough game for new Reds manager Andoni Iraola, who watched his side fall behind twice, but goals from Isak and Victor Munoz salvaged a point. After the match, the Sweden striker was interviewed on the pitch by TNT Sports before heading back down the Anfield tunnel, where a number of fans were waiting. TV cameras picked up Isak removing his prized No.9 shirt and handing it up to an excited kid – only for an older fan to grab it instead, yanking it away for himself. Isak himself appeared to be stunned by the incident, as the fan walked away grinning to himself, leaving the young man empty-handed and visibly upset. Thankfully, justice prevailed, as a number of supporters and stewards quickly called out the shirt thief, and after a brief back-and-forth, the shirt was handed back to its intended recipient.
