Reds change price-rise plans - is it enough?
Liverpool supporters say they "welcome" the club's decision to scrap plans for successive ticket-price increases across the next three seasons. Flags were removed from The Kop by the Spion Kop 1906 group, while supporters' union Spirit of Shankly orchestrated the handing out of thousands of yellow cards, which fans help aloft at Anfield during the recent fixture with Crystal Palace. Liverpool - who had widely cited soaring costs as a reason for increasing prices - have now confirmed an inflationary increase of 3% to general admission tickets for next season, before a price freeze for 2026-27.
