Everton have signed a player proven to be a "general on the field" in Christian Norgaard, says BBC London Sport's Andy Rowley. The Toffees signed the 32-year-old midfielder from Arsenal last week in a deal worth a reported £7m. Speaking to BBC Radio Merseyside, he explained: "I prefer to think of what he's like at Brentford, rather than his season at Arsenal because I think it was only one league start," Rowley said.

Trevoh Chalobah has posted an emotional farewell to Chelsea on social media after his move to Como was confirmed on Sunday, in a deal worth more than £30m.
