'Let's trust them' - Arteta not drawn on Arsenal's lack of new forward
Mikel Arteta would not be drawn on Arsenal's hunt for a new forward after the Gunners were unable to bring in another attacker by Tuesday's transfer deadline. Arsenal signed Christos Tzolis but were unsuccessful in their pursuit of Julian Alvarez and Vinicius Jr, ending the window with fewer attackers in their squad than they started with after sanctioning the departures of Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Trossard.
