
Liam Delap says Oliver Glasner played a big part in his decision to sign for Nottingham Forest because he feels he "can really improve" under his coaching. The 23-year-old striker was made available for sale this summer by Chelsea after he scored just one Premier League goal in a 2025-26 campaign disrupted by shoulder and hamstring injuries. Delap's frustrating season was off the back of a hugely successful one at Ipswich Town in which he scored 12 goals in 37 Premier League games.

While the rest of this weekend's games get under way on Sunday the first, and arguably, the pick of the bunch is at Meadowbank tonight. Glasgow City and Hibs are both sitting on six points after three games, the former lost to Celtic on the opening while the latter were also beaten by Celtic more recently.
