Motherwell cannot afford to sit back on their 2-0 lead in the second leg of their Conference League second qualifying round tie away to HB Torshevn, Joelle Murray has warned. The Hibernian women's head coach recognises it was "a very good performance" and "a good result" in the first leg at Fir Park. Hibernian forward Tegan Bowie has joined Serie A side Parma Calcio on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee after the Italian club triggered a release clause in her contract. Zach Mitchell feels he has "unfinished business" at St Johnstone after returning for a second spell on loan from Charlton Athletic. The 21-year-old defender started last season on loan at Hibernian but was recalled by the Championship club in January after having made only two appearances. Mitchell had joined St Johnstone the previous February and played 10 times, seven of them starts, as the Perth side suffered relegation from the Scottish Premiership.
Azeem Abdulai has targeted joining new Hibernian teammate Josh Mulligan in the Scotland squad after his transfer from Leyton Orient. The Glasgow-born 23-year-old started as a youth with Celtic, but it was with Swansea City that he first tasted senior football. Abdulai hopes the switch from England's League One to playing alongside the likes of Mulligan will improve his chances of international recognition.
