
Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez is not taking his previous success against Erling Haaland as proof it will happen again at Old Trafford tomorrow. Despite the relative size difference, Argentina centre-back Martinez has a decent record against the prolific Manchester City man. Most recently, Martinez rammed the cruel pre-match jibes of former United stars Nicky Butt and Paul Scholes down their throats by shutting Haaland out in Michael Carrick's first game in charge last January.

NATHAN SALT: While Martinez accepts that confidence has shot up as a result of exploits in Europe, hosting City on Sunday is not a task anyone can take lightly.
