
Manchester United's academy recruitment drive is gathering pace. Liverpool's Isaac Konde is set to be the latest addition, with Manchester City duo David Eze and Karim Cassim, just waiting for official clearance before their moves are confirmed. Konde, 16, made six appearances for Liverpool's Under-18 side last term and is set to go into Darren Fletcher's Under-18 squad once his move is completed.

Spurs are in the bottom three having picked up just one point from their opening three league games, and are yet to score a goal in the competition - though they did put five past Charlton Athletic in the Carabao Cup second round. "I've not seen those comments if he has done, but he's made a fair few excuses so far this season," said former Premier League striker Sutton.
