The incident occurred during the second half at Fratton Park when the Portsmouth fan had caught the ball and threw it away from Bielik, who was trying to take a quick throw-in. Bielik responded by grabbing the throat of the supporter, who then stood up and slapped the Cardiff City midfielder on the head. Following the confrontation, the young Portsmouth supporter was seen gesturing to a nearby steward that Bielik had grabbed him by the throat. Bielik, who was substituted in injury time, is now likely to face disciplinary action from the Football Association over his conduct. Bielik was signed by Arsenal at the age of 17 as he was signed in a £2.4 million deal from Legia Warsaw in 2015.
