Lacey has been on the bench for both United's Premier League games so far this season and was brought on during the second half as Michael Carrick's side suffered a shock defeat at Hull. Significantly, full-back Harry Amass was not involved amid conflicting reports over the 19-year-old being in talks with Burnley.
