'We are very clear on how much work we have to do'
Cardiff City continue their pre-season campaign at Cork City on Tuesday (19:45 BST) with boss Brian Barry-Murphy acknowledging they have a lot of work to do before competitive football returns next month. Barry-Murphy will lead Cardiff in his home city as the Bluebirds face a Cork side currently top of the League of Ireland First Division, the nation's second tier. While it is still early in pre-season, Cardiff will hope for an encouraging evening at the Turner's Cross Stadium having lost 6-0 to Danish side FC Midtjylland in their opening friendly on Saturday.
