Is Howe the right person to take Newcastle forward?
Newcastle United head coach Eddie Howe looks set to lead the Magpies into next season after constructive talks with the club's Saudi Arabian leadership group. The parties are said to have agreed on the boss' future, despite an under-par campaign, following their annual summit in Northumberland this week. The 48-year-old, who took charge of the club in November 2021, said in his pre-match news conference that he had faced "difficult questions" from the owners and the board.
