Goalkeeper Ivor Pandur has urged Rangers to leave nothing to chance in the Czech Republic as he looks to fulfil his ambition of playing European football. The Croat, who moved to Ibrox from Hull this summer, has only experienced qualifiers in his career but stands on the brink of the Conference League proper as Rangers take a 1-0 first-leg lead to Jablonec.
Ivor Pandur cannot wait to get started at Rangers and the Croatian goalkeeper believes he has arrived at the "perfect time" in his quest for silverware. The 26-year-old was signed from Hull City at the end of June but has just arrived in Glasgow this week after representing his country at the World Cup. Pandur, who has yet to earn a full international cap, agreed a four-year contract, having helped Hull win promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs.
Derek McInnes refused to be drawn on links with a move for Scotland midfielder Lewis Ferguson but indicated "there's still more work to do" after Rangers made five signings this summer. Lawrence Shankland was recruited from Hearts before McInnes was appointed Rangers manager and Ben Godfrey, Ross McCrorie, Dan Neil and Ivor Pandur have arrived since.
