Motherwell signing Girdwood-Reich 'impressed' by boss Johansson
Motherwell have signed centre-back Jake Girdwood-Reich from MLS side St Louis City on a three-year deal. The 22-year-old, who becomes Motherwell's fourth summer signing, began his footballing career in Sydney but also had a short stint with St Johnstone's academy in the early years of his career. Girdwood-Reich joined St Louis in 2024 and has made 23 senior appearances for the club but spent last season back in Australia on loan with Auckland FC.
