Onana lost his place initially to Altay Bayindir at the start of the season, since when Belgium international Senne Lammens has established himself as United's first choice goalkeeper. Onana will complete his loan stint at Trabzonspor on Friday when they take on Konyaspor in the Turkish Cup final. United will return for pre-season training in mid-July, ahead of their opening friendly against Wrexham in Helsinki on 18 July, the day before the World Cup final.
