Leeds United captain Ethan Ampadu has signed a new four-year deal to extend his stay at Elland Road until 2030. The Wales international says he is "very pleased" to have his future at the club sorted with him entering the final year of his previous contract. Since arriving at Elland Road from Chelsea in 2023, the 25-year-old has made 126 appearances and scored three goals.

Despite the result against Chelsea, walking down Wembley Way was genuinely special. Usually, when Leeds are at Wembley it feels like life or death with everything on the line, but this time there was less pressure because we were already proud of what the team had achieved by getting there.
