Daisuke Yokota has joined Rangers from Hannover 96 just a month after making his loan move to the 2 Bundesliga side permanent. Yokota spent last season on loan at Hannover from Belgian outfit Gent and the Germans made the deal permanent last month but have now sold the Japanese winger for an undisclosed fee. The 26-year-old made 30 appearances in the German second division and scored five goals as well as setting up four as Hannover finished fourth and narrowly missed out on a chance of promotion.
French top-flight runners-up Lens have signed Maik Nawrocki from Celtic, saying the 25-year-old is the perfect fit for their three-man central defence. The former Poland Under-21 international had spent last season on loan to Hannover 96 as they finished fourth in Germany's second tier.
