Striker Ieuan Owen says it is a "dream come true" to join Kilmarnock from top-flight Welsh side Barry Town United. Kilmarnock have paid an undisclosed fee for the 20-year-old, who has signed a two-year deal with the Scottish Premiership club. Owen, who scored 19 goals in 42 games last season, was voted young player of the year in the Cymru Premier and his signing is hailed as a "real coup" by Kilmarnock.
Another barren season for Rangers is at an end, followed by an endorsement of the manager by the chairman Andrew Cavenagh. Supporters had begun to have their doubts about Danny Rohl's ability to bring success to the club and they will desperately hope they are not once again in the position of having to get rid of a manager early next season. Cavenagh was clear this week about the type of player required: relatively experienced, mentally tough and with sufficient ability to immediately improve the first team.
Rangers manager Danny Rohl is feeling the heat after a highly public falling-out with club captain James Tavernier. The veteran right-back took to social media last week, claiming that Rohl broke prom...
Rowena Armitage (Hibernian): Back-to-back starts for the 17-year-old for the first time and was part of a professional performance for Joelle Murray's side. Rangers' title hopes collapsed after the split as they lost four consecutive matches and another summer rebuild is looming, with captain James Tavernier departing after 11 years. "They've not won enough in recent history and that's why the fans are frustrated at the moment," said Bell on the BBC's Scottish Football Podcast.
If a recent report from The Scotsman is believed to be true, Rangers have reignited their interest in Dan Neil. But they are not alone in the race, as the Sunderland midfielder is on the radar of seve...
Hearts winger Alexandros Kyziridis said his side went from "heaven to hell in 90 minutes" after Celtic snatched what would have been a first league title in 66 years from the Edinburgh club's grasp. The fallout from Saturday's title decider rumbles on after Celtic fans spilled on to the pitch following the final goal of their side's 3-1 win before confronting Hearts players in chaotic scenes. Kyziridis had been one of Hearts' star players as they came within minutes of a draw that would have ended a 41-year wait for a team other than Glasgow giants Celtic and Rangers to win the Scottish title.
Rangers fans, we asked you for your opinions on the 5-2 win over Falkirk that rounded out a disappointing Premiership campaign. Steven: If Rangers have money to spend then there is only one player it should be spent on - Mikey Moore. Too many players not good enough to put on a Rangers jersey, and one who was good enough gets snubbed by the club.
